My P.O.V.: Kuching High Boy Dragged into a car and beaten?

KUCHING (20/10/09 - 1250pm) There have been this rumour or rather, a report that a Kuching High student is dragged into a car and was kidnapped near the school grounds, which is what it may seem to look like to ordinary outsiders, and hence the shabby rumours.


Dear readers,
Let me induldge you into what truely happened, my eye witness report.

What truely happened was that the victim (who I shall not reveal) has been caught trying to steal the gangsters phone, which is a very wise choice, dont you think?

He was caught nontheless and was pulled into one of their cars and was beaten senseless. After that, he's dad was called and he was reported to the police and they held him at a coffeeshop.


Since he is one of the guys in my bus and we couldn't just leave him behind without trying anything, so a few of us went over the the coffeeshop and asked if it was okay if we could get his ass home, and that's when I knew about everything, the process, seeing his heavily-beaten face, and his whining attempts to go home

Note that this is my eye witness report, which means I am writing totally from what I saw and know. They could be lying to me in the first place. Saying that they had reported to the police and all.

Now, if we look at this point of view, I have no pity for this boy, from the fact of his level of intelligence that made him did this exciting feight. Without a doubt, he is in the wrong.

Aint that a nice lil' thing to gossip about now?

Okay, this is great.

Dad asked me to put last Sunday free. That was VERY odd. I was wondering, why?


It's been a very long time since my dad told me those words. So I just vacated my Sunday.

Lo and behold, it was actualy Dad just wanting to treat us to lunch, having something for a change.


I can't remember the last time Dad brought us out somewhere for LUNCH anymore. Since my Scouting activities really bite the time out of my family times, so I was rather willing to go.


We went to the Terrace Bar located at the Sarawak Club Golf Club, Samarahan.
It was unlike any place i've been to. I think this can be catergorised as fine dining. The interior was totally themed WHITE, a really light touch to the place.

To the right is a long window stretching from end to end, with a view of the swimming pool and the not so nice ULU JUNGLE scenary.

There is also an outdoor one. Very airy.


I took a look at the menu. WOAH. It ain't the CHEAPEST place to dine in. as everything the eye can see is above RM10.


So I went ahead an ordered a Beef Burger. RM11.50.





NOT BAD RIGHT? This thing is freaking tall! It makes the BigMac looks like MiniMac. Roughly 10cm-12cm in height! Not joking. The patty is traditionally made with beef and spices, not like the way McDonald does it, with processed meat patties.


All that in just a price difference of a few ringgit! I ask you guys, which would YOU chose?


So I was feeling thirsty after my few bites and I wanted to ask for some skyjuice. Fearing for the fact that it may cost a bomb, I asked for the menu first.

Mid Autumn Festival

Hiatus over. Or maybe i finally got my ass off and continued to blog.

The biggest reason for my absense is Scouting

Okay, maybe NOT scouting. I just wanted an excuse to post that picture.



So the mooncake season has just passed and so did our performance. It was a very busy day for me. Waking up at 8am for the never-ending meetings, rushing to my dad's office after the scout meeting to bathe and change into the nerdy white shirt-black pants combo.

The performance is inconjunction with the Education Minister some crap. Though the DPM did not show up. As expected.

Sometimes i wonder why VIP's are such assholes at times.


But it was still not bad. We had alot of fun practicing for the performance. We even did a mash-up of a rock band and the chinese "Hua Yue" orchestra.


What an experience :)


The performance turned out ok, with only a small crowd. Heh. Support the local music scene!


There is nothing that can match the euphoria whenever we finish a performance and we just kick back and get some drinks. In this case, the beautiful evening sky was like a blanket over Waterfront.

I didn't know that Kuching could be so beautiful at times.


After that, we went our seperate ways and I walked over to the festival at Carpenter street. ALONE.



It really sucks to walk around alone in such crowded places.

Since my dad told me to eat before coming back, so i went over to Life's Cafe since the stuff at the festival was just so-so.


Look clearly. Remember? It sucks to eat alone too.

Koperasi Dinner 2009

Haiizzz....


Well, what can I say about this dinner. It's a small scale one. Only 3 tables? 1 table teachers. 2 table for students. 1 table junior, 1 table senior. 2 form 4. All others, are form 5 people.


Ahh~ what to do then. Well i sat down with the Form 5 gang. They'e very friendly I must say!


The performance was just crap. CRAP! NO MIC. STANDS!!!

This was Rueben's SMART idea.

The Form 5 gang was quite fun. Going to the dinner was quite worth it meeting new people :). This is Cindy Tan. I think!

and we did something like a street performer! There's the photographer of the evening! He gave me a few tips how not to suck in taking photos. I learnt so much!
