Kobe Osaka World Karate Duty / Man Vs Wild Cave

For this post, I would like to dedicate this out to a lil dog stuck at Miri. You know who you are :).

Okay, so this have been an extremely hectic weekend for me. Waking up at 5-6am for the past 4 days. Including skiping school for two days (NOOO!!!). Counted as one of the buziest weeks for me.
Starting off with the Kobe Osaka Karate duty that us scouts were so cordially invited to service. Which we were so well treated!!! *inserts super heavy sarcasm*

The duty was 3 days long, so it was quite a gruelling and repeative job.

As our 1st duty, Me and 3 other guys were asked to raise march up and raise the flag. Thus we have to stay in the lobby. Packed. With ALL the contigens that were taking part.

We were litteraly SMELLING the world.

The not so awesome march pass. For an international event anyways.

We were asked to duty as marshalls as the original marshalls were complete DONGS and lazy asses because many of the other scouts were unavailable.

I met this very awesome dude when marshaling. His name is John Paul, or J.P. for short! He is the only Indian dude I know so well in Kuching honestly. He has the most unique personality! Also one of the most hardworking Stonians (Batu Lintang) there!

*fast foward to Day 3*

With an inclusion of all the interesting people I met here is last but not least, Jules Tai! *the one on the LEFT!!!*

She is one sweet young lady that asked me to help as an emcee for the prize giving ceremony cause of my fuck awesome voice cause the original emcee was uncapable.

Sweet eh? :P

Our Kuching District Commisioner. He never seems to lack the aura!!

What a SADISTIC act by the chms No.1 scouts, by asking this poor, defenceless boy, to sit on the pavement because he is cute!!

SENSELESS!!!!

After a seemless nights sleep, it was the Group Outing already! We are going to Kampung Danu, Padawan hole for caving!

It is a first hand experience for me honestly.

Cut the crap.

I want to make my gratitude quite heard here. Ever since that Mr Thomas Lau has left us and succeeded by Mr. Ivor Lim, I did noticed that every bus that we use for any event, June Camp, Karate duty, including his...has...AIRCON!!!

It's a really awesome improvement! Out with the old...IN with the NEW!

Halfway we had to walk and get back on the bus cause the slope was to steep. Hence, this picture looks like us scouts became work slaves for construction plants!

The bus trip took around an hour and 45 minutes? Give or take.

The wobbly bridge!

Unpacking the stuff we brought. We were given a cute room to work with too!

Combo'ed with this....kopi peng water...WHICH I did not hessitate to jump into!

After settling down, the first group went to caving first, while we go village cleaning! Ok, for the image of the vilage. Imagine yourself in a counterstrike game with lots and lots of crossings. Yeah.

We met this funny primate on the way. Spot the mushrooms!!!

The rovers + Me + Daniel were the fire BBQ guys that day. We pengang'ed the whole day and Me and Daniel only took one piece of chicken and ONE piece of sausage. ONE!

Im not complaining :D.

“哎呀不得了,哎呀不得了,我的一百万怎么不见了!”

This games called 20sen. Which we played to kill our time.

....and the punishments that killed our eyes!!! HAHA!

When it was our turn to go down the cave. We walked about 15minutes to the cave's entrance. Which was a new thing for the newmembers! Excellent exposure!

We wer asked to gear up midway on our stroll. Look how funny I look!

The opening! The MOUTH of the cave!

My group in the cave!

Once we entered the cave it was like a totally new environment! It was cooling and airy inside, a huge contrast to the humidity and heat of the jungle.

The long entrails. Check out the ceiling of the cave! Houses to MILLIONS of bats!

Me and Dawson exploring the many chambers as we were on the tail of the group. So we have more time to squeeze into cracks for chamber exploration!

The ridge of the you-drop-you-die. Srsly.

After everything, me and the boys jumped into the kopi peng river and cooled off.

Members after the ordeal, she obviously had a blast?

After more masuk baris-ing and cuting the crap, we were on our way home.

Really have to thank Scouter Leonard for making all this possible. Kudos to him :D
All of us had an awesome time and would be looking foward for more!
